Refund Policy
This policy applies to Alayo software licenses purchased through alayo.ai, and is set by ThinkAsModel Limited (思模科技有限公司). We want the rules to be simple and in writing.
1. Presale orders: full refund anytime before launch
From the day you pay until the day Alayo 1.0 is released and delivered, you can request a full refund at any time, unconditionally, no reasons needed.
Once Alayo 1.0 is released and your license is delivered, your presale order automatically moves to the 14-day guarantee in Section 2 (counted from the day your license is delivered).
2. After launch: 14-day money-back guarantee
Orders placed after Alayo 1.0 goes on general sale can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase; presale orders get the same guarantee for 14 days from license delivery (see Section 1). No explanation needed either way. Alayo also offers a 14-day full-featured free trial — we’d rather you try before you buy.
3. Not a subscription — no auto-renewal to cancel
Alayo is a one-time purchase: not a subscription, no auto-renewal, and no future charges. To cancel a presale pre-order, simply use the refund process in Sections 1 and 4 — a full refund, anytime before release and delivery.
4. How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] with the email address or order ID you used at purchase;
- We usually reply and initiate the refund within 2 business days;
- Refunds go back to your original payment method, processed by the payment provider (Paddle or Stripe), and typically arrive within 5–10 business days depending on your bank;
- For orders completed via Paddle, you can also request a refund directly through Paddle buyer support (paddle.net), linked from your order confirmation email.
Once a refund is issued, the corresponding license key is revoked.
5. Talk to us first
If anything about your order isn’t right, email [email protected] first — most issues are resolved with a single email, which is much faster than a chargeback.
6. Language and changes
This policy is provided in English and Chinese; if the versions diverge, the English version prevails. Updates revise the “Last updated” date above; changes do not affect the policy that applied when you placed an order.
