Refund Policy
This policy applies to Alayo Workbench software licenses and AI credits purchased through alayo.ai, and is set by ThinkAsModel Limited (思模科技有限公司). We want the rules to be simple and in writing. Alayo Notes is sold through the Apple App Store; refund requests for it go through Apple and are not covered by this policy.
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
An Alayo Workbench license purchased through alayo.ai can be refunded in full within 14 days of payment, no explanation needed; once refunded, the license is no longer valid. Alayo Workbench also offers a 14-day full-featured free trial — we’d rather you try before you buy.
2. Not a subscription — no auto-renewal to cancel
Alayo Workbench is a one-time purchase: not a subscription, no auto-renewal, and no future charges.
3. How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] with the email address or order ID you used at purchase;
- We usually reply and initiate the refund within 2 business days;
- Refunds go back to your original payment method, processed by the payment provider (Paddle or Stripe), and typically arrive within 5–10 business days depending on your bank;
- For orders completed via Paddle, you can also request a refund directly through Paddle buyer support (paddle.net), linked from your order confirmation email.
Once a software license refund is issued, the corresponding license key is revoked. Refunding only AI credits does not affect your license.
4. AI credits
Purchased AI credits are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Promotional credits included with a trial or license have no cash value and are not refundable.
If a payment is reversed in full (for example through a chargeback), all credits added by that purchase are removed from your balance, including credits you have already used, so your purchased balance can become negative. A partial reversal removes the corresponding share of credits. A negative purchased balance pauses included Alayo AI until you top up again. Refunding a software license does not refund credits bought for it; request both if you want both.
5. Talk to us first
If anything about your order isn’t right, email [email protected] first — most issues are resolved with a single email, which is much faster than a chargeback.
6. Language and changes
This policy is provided in English and Chinese; if the versions diverge, the English version prevails. Updates revise the “Last updated” date above; changes do not affect the policy that applied when you placed an order.
